Luma Glass Studio is a glass
design studio based in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Luma was created by
Laura Jamieson Chatz whose background in ceramic design, décor styling
and glass blowing enabled a natural progression into contemporary glass
bead products. The studio produces unique handmade glass bead products, specializing in chandeliers and jewelry. The qualities of colour, translucency and light are central to her design. Her design philosophy is simplicity, spontenaeity, and remaining true to the material, creating a new language of glass bead making in South Africa. |
